Situated high up in the stunning Ötz Valley, the superb Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area offers high altitude skiing in an area that was recently voted the most snow-sure resort in Europe. The lifts are literally in the village making it easy to get out on the slopes early, and the ski area offers a wide range of uncrowded pistes. The village of Obergurgl has some excellent hotels with great facilities and there are some good bars for a night of après ski. Many guests return year after year to enjoy the excellent snow cover, high-class hotels and queue-free skiing.
