Set against a backdrop of the stunning Wilder Kaiser mountains, Scheffau is part of the Ski Welt, the largest linked ski-area in Austria. It has a family atmosphere and traditional Austrian charm, whilst the skiing is varied and interesting, offering a great range of intermediate runs and more challenging pistes. Beginners are also well catered for - the wide blue slopes make this a superb place to learn.

Scheffau is an ideal choice for families! We have our resort crèche for children from 6 months-4 years, exclusive to our Landhotel Alpin guests. The ski school in Scheffau is home to "Kinderkaiserland". With excellent facilities on the slopes and trained child care assistants and instructors, learning to ski couldn't be more fun! Ski school is open to children from 4-14 years and for 2-4 year olds there is the "Kinderalm".
