Resort Information
Salla is close to the Russian border and is a beautiful wilderness of frozen rivers, lakes and waterfalls amongst snowy fells. The area is home to one of the largest reindeer herds in Europe and a FREE reindeer feeding excursion is included. The ski village is quiet and unassuming with the skiing largely suited to beginners and intermediates with floodlit pistes allowing you to ski in to the evening. There is an enormous selection of cross-country trails and 35 trails are illuminated so you can continue when it gets dark. Salla is a great choice for families and groups with an excellent choice of accommodation, a wonderful winter wonderland atmosphere and a host of winter activities to keep you occupied.
