Situated just a few miles from the Austrian and Italian borders, Kranjska Gora's sunny slopes are dominated by the magnificent Julian Alps. Host to World Cup races, Kranjska Gora is Slovenia's leading ski resort, boasting spectacular scenery, skiing to and from the village and offers excellent value for money. The resort is a great choice for families, offering childcare facilities, gentle nursery slopes and great ski tuition.

Kranjska Gora offers superb value for money for families and many hotels also offer FREE and reduced places for children (see hotel Snow Savers). Children up to 5 yrs. inclusive can ski for FREE, but must always be accompanied by an adult (5 yr olds pre-booking ski school will need to pre-book a lift pass).
A fantastic creche and kids' club is available at the Hotel Alpina (run by our sister company). To pre-book, please call the Family Hotline on 0871 971 0457 (charges apply).
There is also a FREE 'mini-club' offering indoor play and games for 4-12 yr olds, 3hrs per day at Hotel Kompas for guests of hotels Alpina, Kompas, Larix and Prisank only.
