Ever popular with British visitors, the Jungfrau Region is set against the beautiful backdrop of the majestic Eiger. The diverse terrain was the “birthplace of alpine skiing”, and the pretty villages have a long skiing tradition. Grindelwald is large and scenic with a sophisticated Victorian ambience. Wengen retains a more rustic mountain flavour, accessed by mountain railway, the centre is virtually traffic free.

The pretty villages of Grindelwald & Wengen are superb family resorts. Grindelwald has an English speaking kindergarten at the Bodmi nursery slope and at the top of the Mannlichen and First areas. Open 9.30am - 4.00pm Mon-Fri for children aged 3-7 years. Full day care is approx. SFr.50 per day. Wengen has an English speaking kindergarten for children aged 18 months-7 years at the Sport Pavillion. Open Sun-Fri 9.00am -5.00pm. Full day care including lunch is approx. SFr350.
