Villars is a charming resort on a sunny plateau with views to Mont Blanc boasting a hugely underrated intermediate ski area with a great selection of well groomed pistes, making it a popular destination with the British. Beginners can try the nursery slopes in the village or take the mountain railway up to Bretaye. Intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders will love the huge area covered by the lift pass including the superb snow on the Les Diablerets glacier, snowboard parks and perfect pistes for carving!

Villars is an excellent resort for families. There is a local crèche in the resort centre, "La Trottinette" for children aged 6 months to 6 years open Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm, Sat-Sun 8am - 4pm. The Swiss Ski School runs an excellent Ski Kindergarten for children aged 3-8 years which includes 3.5 hours ski lessons, an indoor play area, lunch and drinks. Half or full days are available. Mon-Fri 9am - 4pm.
